Here is the English version of the guide on how to play PSP games on a PC.

The most popular, simple, and effective way to play PSP games on a PC is by using the PPSSPP emulator. This is a free, open-source piece of software with excellent compatibility. It also supports high-definition graphics, allowing you to revisit classic PSP games on your computer.

The entire process consists of three main steps.
📥 Step 1: Download and Install the PPSSPP Emulator

First, you need to download the PPSSPP emulator itself.

Download Source: It is highly recommended to download it from the official PPSSPP website to ensure you get the latest and safest version. Avoid using unverified download sites.

Installation: Once downloaded, locate the installation file and run it. The installation process is the same as any standard software. Just follow the on-screen prompts, usually choosing an installation path and clicking "Next" until it's finished.

📂 Step 2: Obtain PSP Game Files (ROMs)

The emulator itself does not contain games. You will need to prepare the PSP game files yourself, which usually come in .ISO or .CSO formats.

Source of Games: The most legal way is to dump the files from a PSP disc you personally own. You can do this by inserting the UMD (Universal Media Disc) into a compatible PC drive and using specific software to create an ISO image file.

Important Reminder: Many websites offer game ROMs for download. Please be aware that downloading and sharing copyrighted game ROMs without permission from the copyright holder is illegal. Please respect intellectual property rights and only play games you have legally backed up yourself.

🎮 Step 3: Import and Start Playing

This is the most exciting step. Here is how to do it:

Organize Your Game Files: For easier management, it's a good idea to create a dedicated folder on your computer (e.g., named "PSP Games"

. Then, place all your downloaded or dumped ISO or CSO game files into this folder.

Open the Game in the Emulator:

Run the PPSSPP emulator you just installed.

On the main interface, click the "Load" button (or a similar option).

In the file browser window that pops up, navigate to your "PSP Games" folder where you stored the game files.

Select the game file you want to play (e.g., example.iso) and click "Open". The game should start running.

Enjoy Your Game: Once the game loads, you can start playing! The default keyboard controls might not feel intuitive. You can customize the key mappings in the emulator's "Game Settings" or "Controls" menu to your preference. You can also adjust settings like the screen resolution or enable HD rendering in this menu for a better visual experience.

💡 More Options

Besides PPSSPP, there are a few other emulator options you can explore based on your needs:

JPCSP: This is a Java-based emulator known for its high simulation accuracy, but it can be a bit more complex to set up.

RetroArch: This is a powerful, all-in-one emulation platform. By installing the PPSSPP core, you can also use it to play PSP games. It supports advanced features like Netplay (online multiplayer) and shaders, but it has a steeper learning curve.

I hope this guide helps you! If you encounter any problems during the setup or want to know how a specific game performs, feel free to ask.
